-Social Ministers-
๐ฟhe life of a religious brother is one for that man which feels called to be a physically guided servant of those around him, in particular the Person of Christ contained within holy priests.ย
He lives in this capacity through the usage of secular professions. Whether he serves as a cook, carpenter, typesetter, librarians, or tradesmen. They offer their lives up to God through their direct service towards the priesthood and the practices of general upkeep and assistance.
A religious brother does not feel called to serve the faithful through his administrationย of the sacraments as the priesthood does. Instead he lives as a direct example to how one can use the particular skills and traits God has imbued within them to serve Him.
-Sacramental Ministers-
๐ฌ traditional catholic priest serves Our Lord in a manner so deeply personal, so connected as to take on his very person In persona Christi that he often grows close to God in a way to which no others relate.
The priest, through the Most Holy Sacrafice of the Mass, serves as the vessel, offering up his very being and humanity, to God for Him to express His Divine Person through the priest.ย
The priest is a man who feels called to sacrafice every facet of his person for the sake of God. He offers to the flock of Holy Mother Church the mercy of God through his administering of the Seven Sacraments.ย
To God this man gives his all, his very self. He foregoes his past being, his past skills, and desires. He dies in himself to live through Christ and have the face of Christ be present through him.ย
